There is so much confusion…so many advertisers in our face, capitalizing on every new health fad and gimmick. No wonder we’re so lost! A few generations of low-quality mass-produced food was all it took to forget what real food and health is all about. Nowadays, a few big brands have a monopoly on the market, giving us a “variety” of foods that target our desire for convenience, look, and trendiness. But don’t be swayed. There is food, as we once knew it – and then there’s food-like substances. The majority of what’s on our grocery shelves falls under the second category. So sometimes when we think we’re making a healthy food choice, we’re not. A great book about the food industry is The End of Food by Paul Roberts. The food industry’s primary focus is making a profit and driving the economy. Even with the claim on the label, do you really think their concern is your
health and nutrition?
Think again,

Even so called “nutrition” has erupted into a huge money-grabber, capitalizing on our misguided healthy eating choices. Companies try to make us believe we should all take one multivitamin, or one supplement, because real variety is not profitable. But there no such thing as a perfect diet, everyone’s body is individual with different needs.
The result is we are brainwashed into eating dead chemical food. Massive advertising campaigns create a distorted version of eating healthy. Clearly, we are not making natural food choices.
The SAD (Standard North American Diet) contains too much:
- fat, sugar, salt, chemicals and alcohol
and not enough
- pure vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber and liquids.
What's the best healthy food choice for you and your family? Food that you grow yourself, and harvest yourself - whenever your body needs it. The second best choice is buying ORGANIC, WHOLE FOODS as much as you can; especially vegetables, greens, seeds, nuts and fruits.

A SAD diet makes your kids sad, but a natural whole food diet will let them thrive! It's easy to make a healthy food choice, click on the links:

Making actual healthy food choices today has become part of an “alternative” lifestyle. You’re going against the mainstream, and it’s not always easy.
Choosing
whole organic foods
means avoiding a large bulk of the grocery store. You might stick to the produce section, you might just avoid the meat and dairy perimeters, as well as the bakery!
Most of he center isles are not even food, they are usually filled with "food-like substances". These dead, processed, canned and packaged foods are laden with preservatives, and coloured to give the appearance of "real food". Why do you think most of the effort is spent on fancy packaging that hides what's inside?
When looking for healthy food choices, you might even skip the grocery store more and more, and get into some simple
kitchen gardening.
When you fuel your kids with natural foods, they are full of vital energy, always in the mood, thinking clearly, fully aware, and happy.
For those who seek, true health knowledge (and the research and evidence to support it) exists. But you really have to seek! Big corporations are at stake, so they make every effort to hide it or skew it for the public. True health information gets lost in a sea of health fads.
You can start reversing decades of misinformation by refusing to be a part of the SAD system.
Making healthy food choices can be so simple! Nutrition isn’t as complicated as food advertisers would have you believe, and it doesn’t come in packages, pills or powders.
